VTA Gear Pump Type 2.4 – Complete
The gear pump is directly connected to the pump adapter plate and heated by surface contact. The product enters through the suction connection at the pump adapter plate into the gear pump.
One gear rotates clockwise and the other gear counter-clockwise. The product enters the space in between the teeth and rotates with the gears towards the discharge of the pump. The pump adapter plate can be tempered by liquid or vaporous heat carriers. The rotating drive shaft is sealed by a stuffing box containing packing rings. The throughput of the pump can be set by changing the frequency of a connected frequency inverter.
