Company History
1980
What began as a friendship between two sets of brothers evolved into a partnership that would revolutionize hemp and cannabis processing worldwide.
2013
The brothers joined forces to establish one of Washington’s first cannabis operations, where they pioneered industry-leading processing techniques.
2015
Officially founded alongside German manufacturer VTA, Root Sciences was among the first to bring cannabinoid distillation to the cannabis & hemp industry.
2018
In collaboration with DEVEX, Root Sciences developed the CryoEXS, an all-in-one cold-ethanol extraction system for cannabis processing.
2019
Through a partnership with GEA, Root Sciences once again redefined best practices for manufacturing cannabinoid beverages and edibles.
